An initial request for services can be made by telephone, email or via the website. A Medical Referral is not required for Private Services. For a referral made through a Medicare Management Care Plan a Medicare Referral from the General Practitioner (Referrer) is required.

Our friendly Staff at Step Ahead will make contact within 24hours to discuss the request for services/reason for referral, to take a brief history and to organize a suitable appointment date and time. Parent/Teacher Questionnaires will be forwarded prior to the appointment for completion as these provide additional valuable and essential background information.
