Step Ahead Occupational Therapy is a well established, Private Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice originally based in Dianella and recently relocated to Nedlands, Perth WA.

Step Ahead Occupational Therapy has provided professional services for over 15 years in the local area, surrounding areas and to clients and families in rural areas of WA, through Perth based support.

Step Ahead Therapy Staff are passionate about the work delivered, and aim to develop strong partnerships by working closely with the families and clients to achieve their daily functional goals, carefully reviewing each client's individual needs. The intervention provided is culturally sensitive and client/family centered.

Families are always considered to be important members of the team and their ongoing input and feedback is highly valued. Step Ahead Occupational Therapy's team strongly believes in a strength based, family centred approach as our philosophical foundation. A substantive body of current evidence based research, demonstrates family centred practice can be linked to a wide range of benefits for both children and families.

Step Ahead Occupational Therapy Services works closely with other Allied Health Professionals, Medical Staff and Schools in the area and with the RehabMe multidisciplinary team. Step Ahead Occupational Therapy Services will support daily participation in the community (sport and other activities) as the need arises.

Visits by other relevant organizations and Professionals working with your child are welcomed to enhance a multi-disciplinary team approach.
